traditional local clay quarry. The standard statues and skulls are
fired, glazed and fired for a second time. Through the glaze they become
very sturdy. Sometimes we also craft figures that are hand-painted with
self-composed paints containing different herbal as well as animal
essences in harmony with the soul connected to each statue. These are
richer in detail and still very durable, though not as sturdy as the
glazed ones, which is why we generally recommend the glazed variant.
